I love the restraint shown here; it heightens "the feels". Adding a political dimension was also quite original and unexpected and made the world even more real.
Huge props and kudos for your writing style. It's descriptive enough to be visual and you fully make use of what literary art does best: getting into the head and heart of a character. You've made ElsAnna even more adorable
